This cake basically consists of a vanilla sponge cake, which is then covered with a mixture of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Ingredients
For the cake

5 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
For the tres leches mixture
- 1 cup of evaporated milk
- 1 cup of condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the meringue
- 3 eggs (just the whites)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
To decorate
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Fresh strawberries
- Zest from the skin of a lemon
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 ° F
- Separate the 5 whites from the egg yolks.
- Start 5 beat egg whites at medium speed until the mixture is foamy, then add sugar, vanilla, and egg yolks one by one until the mixture is bright and sparkling.
- Stop beating and incorporate the flour with a spatula little by little.
- Pour the mixture into a cake pan previously prepared paper waxed to prevent the cake from sticking.
- Bake the cake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- To prepare the mixture to bathe the cake, in a bowl, add the three milks and the cinnamon, beat until well-integrated and reserve.
- Take your cake out of the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes.
- Then bathe it with the milk mixture and put it in the fridge for another 20 minutes.
- For the meringue. You just must beat the egg whites until they are foamy and add the sugar and lemon juice. Beat until the meringue is the right consistency.
