Vegan Cheeseburger Dumplings with Violife

Ingredients:
FOR THE FILLING:
- 200 g Violife Just Like Mature Cheddar slices, in small squares
- 1 medium scallion, diced
- 400 g vegan minced meat
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove diced
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
FOR THE DUMPLINGS:
- 60 round dumpling wrappers
- 1 tbsps vegetable oil, divided
- 1/2 cup of water
- roasted sesame seeds, for garnishing
- Chilli flakes, for garnishing
Directions:
- In a large bowl add vegan minced meat, Violife Just like Mature Cheddar slices and all the ingredients for the filling and mix well to combine.
- Fill each dumpling wrapper with a teaspoon of filling and then wet the edges using some water on your fingers. Fold over into a semi-circle, securing the edges on top of each other. Carefully fold over creating ripples on the seams.
- Place seam facing up in a large tray with baking paper. Repeat with all the dumplings and filling.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place ten dumplings at a time inside. Allow to turn golden brown on the base for 1-2 minutes. Then add some water and close with a lid, steaming for 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining dumplings, adding oil and water when necessary.
- Serve warm with some soy sauce, extra scallions, sesame seeds and chilli flakes on the side. Enjoy!
