Picadillo A La Habanera

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 potatoes
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- Olives, to taste
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- In a sauce pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, onion, red bell pepper and garlic; cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and tomato puree to the sauce pan; cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the sauce pan and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Serve alongside white rice, plantains and sprinle with fresh parsley to garnish.
