Recipe:
(4 servings)
- 1 box Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme Craving Kit (includes: 4- 12” tortillas, 4- crunchy tortillas, 1-cheese sauce pouch and 1- taco seasoning packet)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, chopped
- ½ cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, shredded
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- Avocado oil, for cooking
Fixings:
- Cream cheese, at room temperature
- Mexican salsa
- Taco Bell Avocado Ranch
- Avocado slices
- Mexican cheese
- Chopped lettuce
- Diced tomato
Method:
- Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion, bell pepper and garlic until onion looks translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and season with one pack of Taco Bell Original Taco Seasoning, salt and black pepper.
- Mix to combine while cooking the beef at the same time, about 5-7 minutes. Adjust heat if necessary.
- Working one crunchwrap at a time, warm up one 12 inch tortilla in the microwave for 10-12 seconds.
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese in the center leaving an edge of about 4 inches.
- Add a layer of the cooked beef, then the salsa.
- Carefully, warm up the large tortilla (yes, the one with cream cheese/beef/salsa) in the microwave for another 10 seconds.
- Spread some of the cheese sauce on one side of 1 crunchy tortilla and place the side with cheese on top of beef.
- Spread some Taco Bell Avocado Ranch on the other side of the crunchy tortilla, then add a little chopped lettuce, diced tomato, avocado slices and shredded Mexican cheese.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla in as shown in the video and while holding it together toast in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes each side or until crispy and golden brown.
