Ingredients:
- 1 cup dry rice
- 2-3 cups of frozen peas
- ½ cup of diced onion
- 8oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Pepper to tast
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- Olive oil
- Water
- About two cups protein of your choice (optional)
Instructions:
- Make rice as normal.
- In a separate pot, cook onions in olive oil for a few minutes then add your protein and cook till its browning.
- Then add everything else and enough water to just cover everything.
- Mix well and simmer till sauce thickens and peas are tender.
